Uninterrupted data center relocation for SupplyOn AG
Munich / Frankfurt, March 2025– Manage Now GmbH has announced the successful completion of a strategically significant transformation project for its long-standing customer SupplyOn. The core of the project was the complete relocation of the customer’s IT environment to the Manage Now data center in Frankfurt am Main, as well as the migration of business-critical applications and infrastructure systems.
Particularly noteworthy is the fully uninterrupted migration from the previous operating model (CMO) to the new Future Mode of Operation (FMO). This was of central importance for SupplyOn: the company operates a global supply chain collaboration platform that connects more than 140,000 companies worldwide. Partners include Airbus Group, Alstom, and Robert Bosch GmbH. The continuous availability of the platform is therefore business-critical for internationally connected supply chains.
The transformation program spanned a period of two and a half years and was implemented by an integrated expert team of more than 100 specialists from Manage Now, SupplyOn, and other partners. As part of the project, around 460 business application VMs and 39 core business application landscapes were successfully and seamlessly migrated. In addition, approximately 120 new infrastructure VM systems were installed in the target data center. In total, 73 structured migration waves were carried out.
Dr. Stefan Brandner, Chief Technology Officer at SupplyOn, described the collaboration between the two organizations as an outstanding achievement and exemplary for partnership-based transformation. The management of Manage Now also emphasizes the strategic dimension of the project. Lars Moscherosch states: “We do not operate our customers’ IT landscapes for their own sake. What matters is that we fully understand the individual business requirements and consistently translate them into stable, future-proof operating models.”
The successful completion of the project underscores Manage Now’s expertise in complex infrastructure transformations under the highest availability requirements. At the same time, it demonstrates the company’s ability to implement large-scale migration programs with clear governance, structured wave planning, and closely coordinated customer management.
With projects of this scale, Manage Now further strengthens its position as a reliable partner for business-critical IT transformations in the enterprise environment.
